Instructions

Soak beans several hours or overnight. Chop onions and garlic. In a large
pot cook the 2 ingredients in vegetable oil till tender. Add all other
ingredients to pot. Add 1-2 cups of water if needed. Cook over low heat
for several hours.
When done, add the baking soda to get rid of the acid taste.
